On February 25th, emerging artist CVBZ released his debut E.P Adelaide via independent record label Moonbeam Records. The e.p., which merges soul, funk, and R&B elements, is a testament to the raw talent and artistry CVBZ has honed for years.
Adelaide showcases five tracks, including the lead single “What You Wanted”. Taking influence from elsewhere in the musical landscape, CVBZ’s lyrical style displays a mature outlook on relationships and personal growth. CVBZ’s sound is driven by clever arrangements, expertly controlled falsetto and warmth in lyric delivery.
“I really wanted to capture the emotion of the songs and express how I was feeling through my music,” says CVBZ. “It was important to showcase different aspects of my artistry on the e.p while staying true to my sound.”
