Lucid Lip has released its 10th single, “Where I Come From“. The song explores the relationship you have with your hometown and the mold everyone fits. Most people either love or hate their hometown and “Where I Come From” keeps it real. You will hear the good the bad and the ugly.
Lucid Lip paves the way for others
What sets Lucid Lip apart from other groups is the meshing of multiple, decade-spanning genres. They are coining their sound as Alternative Rock and Soul. They mix heavy synths, powerful guitars, and smooth vocals together. I would describe the sound as a mixture of John Mayer and Depeche Mode. The main vocalist has a voice that could fit in with many of the greats.

Live, they bring high energy and of course, good music. Lucid Lip has performed at venues like Rockwood Music Hall, The Bitter End, Arlene’s Grocery, Our Wicked Lady, and many more.
