Arizona-born turned Los Angeles singer Stephen Lind has released his new single “3,2,1”. This will be the release from his upcoming project “Pity Party” due out next year via ppl pleaser records.
The track is a follow-up to his spectacular EP “Lovers Roulette” which has been snatching awards around the world including “Best Music Video” at Bright International Film Festival (UK), Brazil New Visions Film Fest (BR) and Paradise Film Festival (HU) (just to name a few).
Self-written with long-time producer Taylor Sparks, “3, 2, 1” begins with a countdown (as a song about countdowns should) “Lift off will start in t-minus ten seconds – 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1” before Stephen’s hypnotic vocals kick in: “Baby let’s take off we’ll go anywhere ya wanna”
His infectious “oh, oh-oh-oh” will remain in my mind for the foreseeable future. Stephen has a unique delivery with each of his songs and an enchanting quality that captures the essence of emotion and delivers it with power, something we aren’t getting from pop lately.
I can say with 100% certainty that there is nothing similar to this on the market, the artistry and creativity exuding from Stephen’s pores never cease to amaze me, is there even a song about rocket ships? Why has nobody thought to write a song about rocket ships before? Mr. Lind, you are amazing!
Whatever comes next for Lind will be nothing short of amazing, I am excited to see him blossom in the coming months as he heads up to the release of his new project. Keep your eyes and ears peeled.
