“I’m in Love With You” and "Oh Caroline" were the songs of the night

The 1975 easily had its most successful year in 2022. They celebrated that with an appearance on Saturday Night Live last night. Keeping to the vibe they created on their “At Their Very Best” tour, the band transformed the SNL stage into a living room. The only downfall? Matty Healy didn’t randomly choose a fan to make out with on stage.

They performed 2 songs, “I’m in Love With You” and “Oh Caroline.” You can check out the videos below.

Additionally, before the show aired, The 1975 released a short film titled, A theatrical performance of an intimate moment. In the film, we see lead singer Matty Healy out and about in New York City. It’s a normal day leading up to the band’s SNL performance. Matty is meeting fans, working out, and also taking a few business meetings. All the while, he looks tired and in our opinion, should take a nap. In an Instagram post announcing the release of the short film, the caption was “Episode 1.” Which means we are likely to get another intimate look into The 1975.
