Wotts drop the dreamy “garden”

WottsWotts have dropped their latest single, “garden,” which is the third and final before they release their EP by the same name. The Canadian pop-duo created a smooth, ear-wormy track that has been stuck in my head since I first hit play.

Wotts have become known for their nostalgic ’80s vibe, but decided to take this record in a new direction and thus “blue,” “wheel” and “garden” were born. The three tracks paint a clear picture as to what fans can expect; their are still hints of nostalgia, but the music is a bit lighter and carries you into a dreamland. The duo, made up of vocalist/multiinstrumentalist Jayem and bassist/guitarist Ricky 100, really created some great music and we are excited for the official release of the EP.

Both Jaymen and Rciky 100 spoke about the upcoming record;

“I don’t know when it started but nowadays I find it hard not to escape into music. I think I just love the idea that it’s my own little refuge from the world” – Jaymen

“Indie Pop is our genre, but I think we’re having a lot of fun with exploring new sounds and really trying to build an atmosphere with our music” – Ricky 100

Our opinion? The chorus is infectious, it feels like one of those tracks you hear on the radio and you’re not familiar with the band, but you Shazam and it and immediately dive into their catalogue. It’s a perfect chill-summer vibe and we highly suggest you all take the time to give it a listen.

garden” is now available worldwide; give it a listen below.
